To address the inefficiencies and delayed action experienced during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, University of California, Davis Grand Challenges, the Bay Area Global Health Alliance, and Healthy Davis Together hosted a working meeting in Spring 2022 to begin to develop a roadmap for academic and private sector integration into public health threat preparedness, planning, and response.
